Why do I need an As-Built Survey?

If you're planning a renovation or in the midst of construction, you'll need an as-built survey to get your plans approved. An as-built survey is an up-to-date, detailed and accurate representation of a building or project. It is used to create a final construction document that meets the needs of owners, lenders, and public authorities. Rezio also drafts the future remodel plans and submits everything on your behalf to the city to get it approved the first time!

Who can benefit from Rezio's services?

Whether you are a residential contractor, architect, designer, or homeowner - Rezio provides accurate as-built surveys, detailed renovation plans, and leadership through the permit approval process. We set the standard for quick and precise 3D scanning and deliver high quality work with fast turnarounds, for contractor bids, material take-offs and utility resizing, on-time and on budget.

How fast can I get my permits?

The vast majority of our clients successfully obtain permit approvals within 2-3 months. Take this client testimony for example, "With previous drafting and architecture companies we were spending between 6-9 months to get permits processed with 3-4 revisions from the city. Since bringing Rezio on to handle the process we’ve cut that time down below 3 months."

How much should I budget for Rezio?

Depending on the size, scale, and deliverables for your project, you can estimate between $1500-$8000 (based on a 2000 sq/ft home). See our pricing page and request a quote for your specific project needs.

Tony Williams

“We’ve replaced our team going to the site and taking hand measurements with Rezio’s process. They are in and out of the house in under an hour and have detailed information for creating all documents needed for the lifetime of the project. Easily saved us 2-3 days worth of on-site time trying to assess the existing conditions and weeks inside of the city’s permit department. There is a massive shortage in this space and having a company who can handle the as-builts all the way through permits for all trades is extremely helpful.”

“With previous drafting and architecture companies we were spending between 6-9 months to get permit processed with 3-4 revisions from the city. Since bringing Rezio on to handle the process we’ve cut that time down below 3 months. Their ability to mobilize quick and stay on-top of the workflow takes the stress off my plate and puts us in a position to begin construction faster without risk of red-tags. Would highly recommend them to any contractor doing major renovations.”

Grant Smith

“I’ve been extremely satisfied with Rezio’s responsiveness and products. During my 300K renovation of my home they were able to consolidate architectural/engineering drawings from 3 different groups who had dropped the ball on me and get the project back on track. I don’t know if I’d still be doing the renovation if they hadn’t stepped in.”
